Tasting notes: A bold spicy red wine with rich blackberry fruit and distinctive hints of black pepper, dark chocolate and tobacoo. The palate is juicy with pleasant smooth tannins and a lingering aftertaste.
Vineyard practices: Grapes were selected from Stellenbosch vineyards planted in ideal terroir, cool climate, high altitude and close proximity to the sea.
Cellar practices: Fermentation took place partially in wood and stainless steel tanks. This wine was matured for twelve months in a combination of third fill french and American oak barrels.
