This Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva is made of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes picked from the younger vineyard on cooler hills facing east. The fermentation of the wine takes place in small stainless steel tanks and the aging is in cement vats for at least 15 months. The wine makes a wonderful companion for pleasant conversation and an ideal accompaniment for a meal.
