Vinification: Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature in modern stainless steel fermentation vats, and matured in oak barrels for 12 months. After bottling, the wine undergoes controlled aging for at least 3 months. A portion of the bottles are held for maturation collections of 2, 5 and 10 years.
Aroma: a clear, pleasant aroma with a below-average intensity, making the wine seem at first reserved. Earthy and mineral shades come to the foreground. Later on, the aroma gets more vivid, unfolding tones of cherry, black plum, green peppercorns and cream.
Taste: Full-bodied, fresh and tart, but not a harsh wine. Ripe black fruit, creamy and smoky notes jump out from the glass. The finish is long with ripe shades of prunes and blackberries.
