This exclusive Portuguese wine is made from a blend of Castelão, Trincadeira, Moreto and Aragonez grapes. After being destemmed, the grapes went through vinification following a full fermentation on skins in stainless steel vats, with pumping-over and controlled temperature of 28-30ºC. The red wine showcases an intense garnet color with vinous and persistent red fruit note.
- The fermentation from selected yeasts took place for about 6 days, followed by a malolactic fermentation to stabilize the wine.
- The wine remained for a year in stainless steel vats, and laid another 6 month in the bottle before going to market.
- Smooth in the mouth yet slightly astringent, medium body, neatness.
- Country of origin: Portugal.
- Grape varietal: Castelão, Trincadeira, Moreto, Aragonez.
