1200-DLX-2 is the next generation of Satisloh’s high volume coating system. Completely redesigned to maximize productivity, reliability, and energy efficiency. 1200-DLX-2, offers multiple process applications to deposit AR (Anti-Reflective) and/or mirror coatings on organic and mineral glass lenses via thermal evaporation process (PVD). The box coater is built for the requirements of large labs and stock lens production.
- An intelligent, movable shield system for the Meissner trap optimizes pumping speed and protects against surface contamination
- A new Meissner trap with a 15% larger surface area allows for faster pump times to the start of the deposition process – and therefore higher throughput. It also increases process repeatability

- New portable degassing system can be shared between many coaters and eliminates the need to have expensive top heaters in every machine, greatly reducing cleaning and maintenance
- Green: diffusion pump heater modulation and insulated jacket cover reduce energy consumption by up to 25%
