Ma-konbu, a natural resource from the south of Hokkaido, since long ago has been boiled lightly over open flames, cut into slices and left to dry. Two generations ago, our founder invented the sliced shiofuki konbu known as "Aji Matsuba". It is our company's bestseller and now it is loved by everyone. You can have it on top of white rice, inside rice balls, with chazuke rice or even sake. It also goes well with pastas, fried foods, yakisoba, salads and rice soups. And it is excellent as a seasoner, sprinkled on western foods and meat dishes.
