- Research has found that certain nutrients in breastmilk will be lost when the temperature of the milk is above 50℃ (122℉). But for baby formula, it has to be mixed with hot water at a temperature of over 70℃ (158℉) to kill the bacteria Salmonella and Enterobacter sakazakii, which might be present in some baby formula.

- A temperature indication system that shows clearly the temperature range of the beverage with a specific colour. For example, green light means the temperature range is 36 to 45℃, which is suitable for infants to drink the beverage; red light means the temperature is over 86℃, which would be too hot for infants.

- The product is made of food-grade materials so that it doesn't contaminate beverages with harmful substances. In addition, there is an idle mode, so that the rod does not get activated unnecessarily.
