Amarone DOC is still red wine, produced from the ancient vineyards which tend with 60 years old vines, with typical and ancient grapes in hilly region of Marano di Valpolicella. Ageing over 36 months in French oak barrels, further 6 months in tanks, and 9 months in bottle.
Taste are smooth, dry, strong and full-bodied, tannic and extremely balanced. Ideal for food pairing with red meat, roast pork, game in general, strong tasty dishes, spicy and seasoned cheeses.
