In 1967 MR. TIAM SETHSAWAD started a small family business selling latex balloons in a local Thai market. Known for good quality and reasonable prices, his balloon business quickly expanded to major retail outlets in Thailand driven by word of mouth. In 1979 MR. TIAM SETHSAWAD established the BK® brand and setup a manufacturing facility with a yearly production capacity of 30 million latex balloons to export to neighboring ASEAN markets. By 1992 the company had begun to receive orders from across the world, and the owners decided it was time to invest in new technologies to expand production and drive innovation to meet the global demands in the market.
