This spectacular brooch comes with a mottled green jadeite carving depicting leaves. It is inhabited by delicate diamonds and platinum butterflies and shouldered by carved black enamel. The oriental design that is set in a platinum and pavé-set diamond geometric frame is typical of the Art Deco period circa 1920.
