Chianti Classico Casaloste is made with at least 85% Sangiovese grapes. The wine is aged in the French oak barrels of 25HL and 35HL and the French oak barriques of 225LT for nearly 12 months. It shows a bright ruby color and fruit bouquet on the nose sustained by the typical acidity and tannins of the Sangiovese grapes.
