This Chianti Classico DOCG reserva is made from selected Sangiovese grapes that show the best ripening and that express the character of the current vintage in the best way. The vinification of the red wine is carried out in glazed cement tanks under controlled temperature. The wine matures in the same oak ovals for 18 months and is finished in the bottle for 12 months.
Average production/year: 5,000/6,000 bottles.
The wine is then racked into barrels where malolactic fermentation takes place on the lees.
