Production Area: Morro d'Oro and Notaresco in the province of Teramo. Vineyards have existem exposure and average altitude of 300 meters a. s. l. Clay soils.
HARVEST: First half of September.
Vinification: The selected grapes are immediately pressed. After the soft pressing, it follows the static decantation for 36 hours and then the alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature (13°C) for about 12 days. The wine rests in stainless steel tanks, in contact with the fermentation yeasts for about two months, before being racked and bottled; it follows a short refinement in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: The color is straw yellow with reflections tending to golden. The auroras are a complex integrations of sweet heres (sage, mint), citrus (bergamot) with hints of white fruit (peach, apple) and slight mineral notes. On the palate it is complex and textural with balanced acidity and a long finish.
Food Pairing: Fish dishes (appetizers and raw seafood, shellfish, first of the seafaring tradition and large fish baked).
