A blend of 62% Grenache and 38% Mourvedre, with 5% whole cluster, from the Alta Mesa Vineyard at 3200 feet in Santa Barbara County.This wine was aged for 42 months in a combination of 1 year old hogsheads, and 600 and 800 liter demi-muid. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration. Year after year this is our most popular wine with consumers and critics alike. It attacks the palate with amazing fruit, complexity, structure and concentration.
