- Grape varieties: 100 % SAPERAVI
- Vinification: The grapes are harvested late. 80 % of the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, and then stored and stabilized in the same tanks, while 20 % is aged in large oak barrels for 8 months.
- Color: The wine has a shiny, dense, almost impenetrable ruby color with a high intensity. It has violet hues when seen through light. The ring in the glass is slim with a beautiful plum shade. Its smooth, slowly flowing tears remain on the glass' walls after swirling the wine.
- Aroma: The aroma is clean, fresh and pleasant, with hues of ripe black plum, cherry and dogwood, and a light mineral tone (heated slate). Later it reveals tones of dried prunes and spices (khmeli-suneli).
- Taste: A velvety taste with tangible, but by no means harsh, tannins. Features strong flavors of cherry and plum, with spicy undertones. The aftertaste is long-lasting, and imbued with a soft trail of prunes with a hint of cherry and plums. It unfolds in the glass and mouth to clearly show the typical characteristics of Saperavi.
