Description:
Dark red with a rich, generous, fruity aroma and palate with notes of dark berries, cherries, herbs and toasted oak. Ideal for dishes of grilled beef, lamb and with flavorsome cheese.
Winemaker's note:
After the harvest the must ferments at 25°C in stain-less steel tanks with daily remuage. This is followed by eight days maceration and malolactic fermentation. Parts of the wine have been aged in new French oak barrels.
