The intelligent toothbrush in the market normally is with a display and connecting to the APP on the mobile phone by Bluetooth which can provide more timely feedback and direction. While as surveyed, the APP check rate is only 3% in the 1st week and drop to 1% in the 2nd week only.

Reasons as we surveyed:

• Check through phone is troublesome 
• Bluetooth connection is troublesome
• Battery lasing is shorten than a normal power toothbrush
• Since we have added too many components(multi-axis sensor+advanced MCU+ more complicated circuits+ Bluetooth module) to make it APP connectable, the selling price is too expensive to afford

To balance brushing cleaner and brushing easier, while also to keep the brush premium,we think a power toothbrush with display only(without APP and Bluetooth) would be a good solution which also helps on battery lasing and cost reduction.

Reasons as we studied:

• No need to check through phone
• No need to connect Bluetooth
• Battery lasing is longer than the intelligent toothbrushes in the market
• The selling price is economical to afford

The improvement we have done comparing to intelligent sonic toothbrush with display in the market :

• Lower cost while still looks premium
• Easy to operate
• Consumer can get timely feedback and encouragement
• Added physical “display control button" avoids spurious triggering
