Project: Legacy Way Tunnel Facade

Project description:
Brisbane's Legacy Way has been named Australia's 2015 Project of the Year at the National Infrastructure Awards.

Fabrication challenges:
There are two towers that sit upon the eastern and western ends of the tunnel. The design references studies of magnified plant vascular systems, with the cladding composed of a series of repeated forms that add an additional layer of three dimensionalities over the surface.
