- The Masada™ AKM 7.62 was conceived by the Magpul® design team as a mission dependent optional configuration that accepts AK style magazines. The PTS Masada™ AKM AEG is a realization of that design concept. Backwards compatible with all PTS Masada™ accessories (including all internal AEG components).
- Styled after AK-47 7.62 x 39mm Russian 30-Round Polymer Smoke magazines, the included PTS AKM magazine is a lightweight 160 round AEG mid-cap magazine. It is compatible exclusively with the PTS Masada™ AKM AEG. The PTS AKM magazine features a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches, and is compatible with PTS PMAG™ ranger plates. Using a smoke polymer, operators can quickly assess approximate ammunition levels for appropriate ammunition management.
