If your young kids cannot concentrate very long on what you are trying to teach them, don’t be upset because it is normal. Young kids’ curiosity can always find them something new and interesting and distract them from their present activity. Therefore, to adapt your teaching content to their interest and to reduce the time for each lesson might enhance your teaching quality. Besides, the training of concentration can be helpful as well. “Memory Training Chess” is the teaching aid to develop kids’ ability of concentration and memorization so as to enhance their learning effect.

2. Find the Color
Put all the pieces on the table. Ask kids to toss a dice. Find out the color of the dice that faces up, teach kids the name of the color such as red or blue, ask them to find all of the pieces which bottom has the same color, and put them away. Then toss the dice again… and repeat the same process until all of the pieces are divided into 6 groups of 6 colors.
3. Fishing Colors Game
This is a game for two or more players. Stick all the pieces onto the board at the beginning. One of the players tosses a dice, finds out the color of the dice that faces up, guess which piece on the board has the same color at the bottom and pick it. If the guess is right, the player may keep the piece and has the right to toss the dice again; if not, the picked piece has to be put back to the same spot and it becomes another player’s turn to play. Repeat the process until there is no piece left on the board. Finally, the winner goes to the player who owns the most pieces.
