WINE: Mezzodì is a proprietary blend of Vermentino 85% Viognier 15%
COLOR: brilliant white gold
NOSE: layers of elegant aromas opening with ripe apricot, evolving into notes of white peach, pink grapefruit peel, exotic fruits (lychee, longan) ending with Thai jasmine/honeysuckles, of white flowers blooming at night.
Palate: fresh, elegant, lively with full body, recall of the aromatic nose, long ending with a clean slightly mineral finish.

PRODUCER NOTE: Mezzodì means midday, and the label image comes from a painting we have in the family; the row of cypresses recalls the 5km-long road lined on both sides with centenary cypresses that goes from the sea to the gentle hills where is located the medieval village of Bolgheri which gives its name to the Appellation.
Selected Critic ratings:
- LUCA MARONI 2013 : 93/100 “ What sun has struck this fruit… What fruit fabulously dense, enveloping, what aromatic and pure breath of its perfume. A peach nectarine , white flowers... This wine is more and more confirmed as a great white wine, not only from Tuscany”
WINE SPECTATOR : 90/100 “Subtly aromatic, with lemon peel, sea pine and mango on the nose, full bodied, offering a solid core of ripe fruit that turns into dried pineapple and hints of apricot. Lovely finish.”
