This exclusive Portuguese wine is made from well-ripened fruit and fermented without stems under a controlled temperature with frequent pisage and delestage. The wine has been aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels and then blended to give it balanced varietal fruit and oak complexity. The red wine has an intense, solid, well-structured palate with spicy fruits and a long, persistent finish.
