Rosemary is a perennial evergreen shrub and aromatic herb. Rosemary extract contains active ingredients and volatile oils such as caryophyllene, caryophyllic acid, rosmarinic acid, epirosmarinic acid, isorrosmarinic acid, and rosmarinicotinic acid.

Yellowish-brown powder or brown paste/liquid. Has a distinctive aroma. Good heat resistance (stable at 200℃) and UV resistance, effectively preventing oil oxidation. Has better antioxidant capacity than BHT. Generally sold in combination with vitamin E and other vitamins, exhibiting a synergistic effect. Its antioxidant capacity generally increases with increasing dosage, but high concentrations can cause precipitation in oils and discoloration of water-containing foods. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and oils.
