This Sercial 1971 is a fine example of a rare old Madeira, available in limited quantities. This wine is brilliant, with dark old gold and green nuances. Developed aroma of dried fruits, namely raisins and spices. Dry on the palate, complex, and with some of the astringency which is natural to the Sercial grape. Well disguised acidity and a long lasting finish. A wine to be enjoyed.
