This novel thermomechanical thrombectomy device removes blockages, such as thrombus, embolus or blood clots, from blood vessels. The device is composed of a biocompatible material-coated wire capable of generating heat, elevating the temperature of the blockage to promote adhesion between the wire and the blockage in order to facilitate blockage removal. The device can be used for treating thrombus, endoluminal occlusion or ischemic stroke.
- For removing blockages.
- With biocompatible material-coated wire.
- By elevating the temperature of the blockage.
- Effective and efficient.
