ELABORATION Harvest: hand-picked in mid April. Elaboration process: 3 days of cold maceration, 8 days of fermentation at 26 °C - 28 °C, and 30 days of maceration after fermentation. 20% of the wine ferments in rotating French oak barrels. Ageing: 18 months in new French oak barrels, followed by 12 months in bottle. TASTING NOTES Its intense violet color denotes a high concentration. In nose, it is both complex and elegant, combining notes of red fruit, such as plum and cherry, with aromas of tobacco, chocolate and toast, which results from its aging in oak. In mouth, a complex combination of the fruity and oak notes is perceived. This full bodied wine with round tannins offers a balanced and persistent aftertaste.
