The Pignolo shows an intense ruby red color in the glass. The scent is characteristic and recalls blueberries, blackberries and cherries in syrup. The fruity flavours become warm and ethereal in the background because of the withering of the grapes and finish with a pleasant and persistent touch of liquorices. Its taste is intense and full-bodied. The strong tannins, which are typical of this vine, are enveloped by cherries in syrup. Despite its structure, it reveals elegance and mellowness.
