Soils & Climate:This region is characterized with fertile black cotton soil. The climate is transitional-continental with long spells of sunshine and more than 102 sunny days throughout the year and with a mild warm Autumn, which results in uniform ripening of the grapes with excellent ratio of sugars and acids. The average annual air temperature is 12 С° and the average annual rainfall is 539 mm
Tasting Notes:This wine is made from the finest Merlot varietal grapes, renowned for their softness, roundness and harmonious character. We grow our Merlot fruit on our own vines, using a successful blend of traditional and modern viticultural techniques. 75% of the wine has been aged in French oak barrels, for a minimum period of 9 months, resulting in a wonderfully complex and drinkable vintage. The wine itself has a warm colour, which holds intricate and attractive aromas, bringing together nuances of plum, jam and spices. It has an elegant and well structured consistency with smooth and elegant tannins, making it an ideal savory partner with stewed pork meat and plums. Recommended temperature of consumption is between 16-18 С°.
