Bright crimson in colour, with a ruby hue. Enticing aromatics of dark cherry, plum and a hint of nutmeg. The fruits continue onto the palate and are accompanied by peppercorn spice and notes of toasted oak. The fine supportive tannins from whole bunch fermentation knit the wine together and provide a lovely density and completeness to finish the wine.
Produced from a hand harvested parcel of the highest grade fruit grown on block 4a of Yarrawood Estate. Matured in new and seasoned French oak barrels for 9 months.
