Children's Jewelry Testing
STC is offering comprehensive Children's Jewelry testing to ensure product safety and quality. As excess content of heavy metal may trigger contact allergies and dermatitis, children's jewelry and accessories, such as bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings, must comply with Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) chemical regulations for nickel release, lead, cadmium and phthalates to be marketed in the EU.
Those intended for markets in the United States must comply with chemical limits set forth by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F2923 and California's Proposition 65.
