LARExC was formed by Mayor Villaraigosa in conjunction with the Brookings Institute to help local businesses navigate the public and private services needed to export their products and help the region support President Obama’s national export initiative. LARExC works towards coordinating existing professional export services and providers into a responsive regional export network; developing and maintaining critical export research, information and a regional export website; and supplementing existing programs with critical new support.
