AR-2808 is a self-contained access control reader designed to drive electric door lock directly. It accommodates up to 500 EM cards for access control. Its solid state output driver is compatible with Fail-safe and Fail-secure electric door locks. Solid state driver gives long service life and prevents sabotage of triggering the electric lock with strong magnet. A built-in door chime actuation output relay contact is also available for driving an external low power door chime.

AR-2808 is built-in with Data I/O port for system expansion. It is compatible with the AR-2802 auxiliary EM card reader; maximum three readers can be connected in parallel to it for multi-station operation.

AR-2808 is a full feature compact reader ideally for office and home applications.
