This Barolo 2004 is an excellent modern Barolo with beautiful, classic aromas of dry cherries, cloves, chocolates, cigarboxes and rose petals. On the palate it is much more restrained however not overly tannic and astringent. The full-bodied wine makes a great accompaniment to red meat dishes and medium or mature cheese.
