This fine red wine is made from selected premium parcels of Shiraz grown in the Kurtz Family Vineyards. The wine was matured in a mixture of new and older French and American oak hogsheads for 28 months prior to bottling. This wine shows distinctive dark cherry, coffee and aniseed aromas on the nose, with a full flavored palate of black plums and cherries and a juicy, lingering, mouth-watering finish.
