This Carchelo 2012 is deep red garnet colour with a violet rim. The nose offers refreshing red fruit notes. Hints of vanilla, cedar and toasted character. The nicely focused bitter cherry and mint flavors pick up smoky and peppery qualities in the middle palate. This red wine finishes with a good cut and a lingering note of black cherries.
