This red wine is produced in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. It is rich in the bouquet, fruity with a touch of violets, blackberries and iris at maturity, with a distinctive vanilla aroma, which a direct result of ageing in oak casks. The taste is dry and robust at first, becoming progressively gentler as years go by, still maintaining a well balanced and generous character.
