The Biolitec Derma Handpiece is used for occlusion of malformations located on the skin surface and underlying skin layers. It is used exclusively in the field of dermatology. It is optimized for use with Biolitec Leonardo Dual laser (980nm+1470nm) to enable precise.

The focus of the laser beam is set to an exact distance of the surface that is to be treated, as determined by the distance holder. The beam diameter is 0.6 mm,1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, depending on the optical unit used. By increasing the distance, it is also possible to work out of focus. The Derma Handpiece with change optics is reusable and is designed for transcutaneous treatment of undamaged skin without direct contact of the optics to the skin.
