This wine has proven itself to be the favorite among wine club members and critics. The 2009 release is a compilation of 51% Grenache, 49% Syrah. It spent 22 months in 53% new French oak and 20% in 1-year old barrels to support the lush balance for which this wine has become known for. It will definitely rank with the best of past vintages and will show the richly textured blackberry, boysenberry fruit, spice, barrel notes and long refined finish we have all come to know and appreciate.
