VARIETY GRAN RESERVA BLACK EDITION CABERNET SAUVIGNON
ORIGIN MAULE VALLEY
VINEYARDS: Vineyards located on the southern edge of the Maule Valley. The soils are thin and low in fertility, with a clayey structure. Summers are dry and very hot, ensuring full ripening of this grape, which truly benefits from complete and uniform ripening. We included 10% Merlot from the Alto Maipo Valley. This condition gives the wine delicate floral and fruity aromas.
Vineyard yield: 12 tons/ha
TECHNICAL NOTES: 85% of this wine was aged for 10 months in French and American oak barrels. We included 15% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Curicó Valley to add more fresh red fruit and high acidity. It is bottled and aged for 6 months before being released.
TASTING NOTES: Intense ruby red color with complex aromas reminiscent of red fruits and plums, with spicy notes from the wood. Very pleasant and complex aroma. Harmonious, with good fruit structure and rounded tannins, it delivers a long aromatic persistence with hints of fine wood, chocolate brown, and mocha. Long, persistent finish with high acidity.
SERVE: at 18°C. Recommended for spicy recipes, red meats, or mature cheeses. It is suitable for immediate consumption or can continue to develop favorably for several years.
