Description
The red wine stems from specially selected Saperavi grapes harvested from the Kindzmarauli microzone. It is carefully fermented to create a fleshier character of the final wine. This win offers a dominant flavor of plums and sweet & dry grape juices.
- Country of region: Georgia.
- Region: Kakheti.
- Grape varietal: 100% Saperavi.
- Sweetness: medium sweet.
- The vineyards are planted 350-550 meters above the sea level on the mountain slopes with medium latitude.
- Fermentation temperature is not allowed to get above 35°C and warm ferments around 28°C help produce a fleshier character.
- Light berry color.
- Goes well with chocolate, ripe strawberries, cakes and red fruits.
- Awards: IWSC, London 2008 and Bronze Decanter, London 2009-commended.
