"La Terrasse de La Garde" is the elegant second wine of Château La Garde, hailing from the esteemed Pessac-Léognan appellation. The 2022 vintage presents a beautiful ruby color. The nose is concentrated, revealing aromas of ripe red fruits complemented by a delicate smoky note characteristic of its origin. On the palate, the wine is generous and well-balanced, supported by a dense structure with polished tannins. This wine showcases great potential for aging.

Crafted from a vineyard with a rich diversity of stony and calcareous clay soils, the grapes are harvested plot-by-plot and optically sorted. Winemaking involves cold maceration in small, temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, followed by 12 months of ageing on fine lees. The final blend is 85% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Petit Verdot.
