The colour is a deep ruby hue. The nose exhibits chocolate pudding, cassis, spice, clove and bay leaf. Confectionary red raspberry fruit notes are also apparent. The palate is medium bodied that shows spicy charred oak, dark chocolate, plumb sauce with firm grainy tannin which aids a medium-long finish. Drink this wine now, but the wine will continue to develop for eight years from vintage.
