TYPE OF SOIL
The land on which the vineyard is situated has medium consistency characteristics with a high proportion of clay-limestone content; situated at an altitude between 200 and 260 metres above sea level facing east/southeast.
TRAINING SYSTEM
- Espalier with Guyot pruning.
PLANTING DENSITY
GRAPE HARVESTING
- The harvest took place during the first days of September.
- The collection is made strictly by hand placing the grape bunches in small crates weighing 12 kg each.
WINE-MAKING
- The grapes are carefully selected by hand on long sorting tables.
- The grapes reach the vats by natural gravity flow: where the must concludes the fermentation, macerating on the skins for approximately a month without temperature control or the addition of selected yeasts.
REFINEMENT
- The wine evolves, on its fine lees, for 12 months in small tonneaux barrels in French oak.
- Aged in the bottle for 6 months.
