Full-bodied, complex, with great structure and a long aromatic persistence.
Aroma: Violet Bouquet and Mediterranean scrub scent
Flavour: fruity (blackberry, currant, prune, blueberry), spicy (black pepper), balsamic (sage, rosemary, eucalyptus), with grassy, licorice and coffee notes
Aging: 6 months in french or american-oak barrique, further 3-months- blend refinement.
Best with: Grilled and roasted meats, ragout, stews, cured meats, furred game.
Serving temperature: 16°-18°
