Barrels Aging: 8 months in oak barrels.

Tasting Note:Color: Dark ruby in color, it is a bit more sophisticated than the two previous wines with its complex nose of vanilla, smoke, cedar, red currants and kirsch. It also offers more structure with ripe tannins nicely concealed by generous quantities of red and blue fruits.
There is very good concentration and depth through
to the pure finish.

We are a  family winery  with more than 250 years of history in Almonacid de la Sierra (DO Cari&ntilde;ena). Our markets are Germany, Holland, France, Poland, USA, Canada, Brasil, China, Japan...
We grow  autochtone grapes  as Garnacha, Cari&ntilde;ena and Vidadillo with local clones. The vineyards are ecologically cultivated and the harvest takes place gradually by plot and varietal as the grapes ripe to perfection.
Our soils are very poor and dry (just 250-300 litres per year) and the vineyards are between 550 and 750 meters. All these aspects shape our  terroir , and give to us the  personality  that all our wines have.
