VARIETY PREMIUM CARMENÈRE CAMILA (100%)
ORIGIN Cachapoal Valley
VINEYARDS
Vineyards located on the southern edge of the Maule Valley. The soils are thin and low in fertility, with a clayey structure. Summers are dry and very hot, ensuring full ripening of this grape, which truly benefits from complete and uniform ripening. We included 10% Merlot from the Alto Maipo Valley. This condition gives the wine delicate floral and fruity aromas.
Vineyard yield: 12 tons/ha
TECHNICAL NOTES
The grapes were hand-harvested in mid-April, providing a good balance between sugars, acids, and tannins. Ninety percent of this wine was aged in French and American oak for 18 months, and the remainder was aged in stainless steel tanks, which provided fruity aromas and freshness.
TASTING NOTES
Cherry red color with vivid violet hues. A wine with intense aromas, dominated by black fruits such as blackberries and black cherries, blending with notes of roasted coffee and tobacco from barrel aging. A full-bodied, indulgent wine with persistent aromas framed by sweet, round tannins. Its balanced structure and proper ripeness allow it to be consumed now or continue to develop favorably for several years.
SERVE at 17°C. Recommended for spiced recipes, all red meats, including lamb, and mature cheeses.
