This red wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes grown in a vineyard located on the middle slopes facing northwest at Azeitão, Portugal. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 14 months in small new French Allier oak barrels. This wine showcases a deep and vivid red color, with a good concentration of the spicy, oak and fruity aromas. The multi-layered palate of the red fruit is lovely and is balanced with a firm but soft structure.
