The full name of NMNH is reduced B-nicotinamide mononucleotide disodium salt, also known as reduced NMN powder, which is a new precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). Participate in electron transfer in the body, connecting the tricarboxylic acid cycle and respiratory chain. Compared to NMN and NRNMNH, it has better bioavailability and stronger retention of NAD+.

Supplementation with NMNH under normoxic conditionsled to a 5-fold increase in the NAD+content, whereas at asimilar concentration, NMN was only able to double basallevels.
