A popular early drinking Cabernet from Gralyn 40 year old vines. Screwcap. 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot. Vibrant purple with an intense bouquet of mulberry and blackcurrant. The palate is well balanced, plush and fruit-driven with flavours of black berry fruits. Fine savoury tannins sustain a long lasting finish. This is a very interesting style that reflects the outstanding fruit quality of Gralyn 'old vine' Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, without maturation in oak barrels. May be served slightly chilled as a perfect barbecue or lunch wine. Enjoy young or cellar to mellow with age.
