This decadent wine opens with a traditional nose of dusty wood, endowed by the 12 month aging in French oak barriques. The pleasing ruby color is accompanied by a medium-bodied palate filled with red currant flavors with a hint of black fruit underneath. The smooth tannins from hand-picked grapes and oak lead the wine a refined structure and complexity.
